TEC Day Zero – Last Minute Reminders
Our 20th annual conference starts tomorrow. Registration starts at 7:30 am, and the first session starts at 8:30 am. Here are a few reminders:
Vendor Expo and Keynote Session are free!
No need to register for these.
The Vendor Expo is open all day Thursday from 9:00 am through 5:30 pm. Drop in and visit our great sponsors. The keynote session (featuring Steve Will, Chief Architect of the IBM i operating system) runs from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm, and is also FREE. You don't even need a badge — just go directly to room S1206 in the SEQ building!
FREE Parking, Too!
TUG has rented Outdoor Parking Lot #9 at Senece College for the two days of the conference. There is also optional covered parking, but this will cost you $15 per day. So if you want to save $15, park in the outdoor lot on the South side of The Pond Road, right across the street from the SEQ Building. Look for the sign: "TUG Free Parking". The gate will remain open all day, so you may come and go as you please. Visit the "maps" page on the TEC 2013 website for location details: http://www.tug.ca/tec/Maps/index.html.
The conference address is:
Seneca College @ York University Campus
SEQ Building, 70 the Pond Road, North York
If you haven't registered for the full conference,
