TOPICS / ABSTRACTS:Session #1 – Reporting, Dashboards, Collaboration, Analytics for the IBMi
In this session, we will cover a variety of topics with respect to modern Data Analysis and Reporting Options for DB2/400 on the IBMi, in conjunction with secondary data-sources that many companies may have. While Spoolfile reports have been a “fan favourite”, long-standing, method of summarized information for the Business Users, there are many other modern approaches, that not only provide details about historical data, but can do so in a graphical manner, and identify discrepancies in historical trends, and help monitor the business on a go-forward basis. This session will cover the capabilities of Business Intelligence & Analytics tools, and will demonstrate some examples of a variety of End User Output options available in 2024. Session #2 - How to Easily Add Value to your Business with Dashboards and Analytics
This second session, will build upon the topics shared in Session #1. We will spend some time connecting to various Data Sources, and Build some results, without any programming, available thru the use of the LANSA B.I. (Business Intelligence and Analytics platform). Output to include: • Web Reports • Excel • PDF • Lists • Pie Charts • Bar Charts • Dashboards • Team Collaboration • Etc.
