ABSTRACT:

"The True Cost of a Cyber Breach"

This presentation will discuss the risks and costs (beyond just legal and forensic) involved in a cyber breach, what organizations can do to protect themselves, both as best practices before a breach, and during the response to a breach. We will discuss the tactics of threat actors, and the spread of Ransomware as a Service along with the increased threat that these represent. We will look at industry trends, share some statistics on cyber threats and costs, and discuss risk mitigation strategies.
