TUG Election Cycle 2020Thank You Jamil Satti!
|
"Since I have to travel frequently and moreover am now very busy for official engagements, I regret to inform that I will not run for election this year. I would withdraw myself to let someone else take this opportunity who can participate in upcoming meetings/events regularly. It has been excellent working with all you folks. Kindly accept my deepest thanks and gratitude." |
The Board and membership of the Toronto Users Group thank you for your service Jamil, and wish you the very best in your future endeavors.
Since we had only 3 candidates for 3 open Board seats, the following candidates were elected by acclimation for a 3-year term: Marly Campbell (incumbent), John Deluca (incumbent), and Chris Hird (new volunteer). Thanks to the candidates for volunteering to serve on the Board. The new Directors will take office at the June 2020 TUG Board of Directors meeting, followed by Election of Officers at the July Board meeting."
